Great quality, good battery length, cracking picture. The quality is astounding in pitch darkness. Pictures are crystal clear and sound is extremely good also.
Cons
It connects for a while, but will disconnect after about 5-10 minutes. It's frustrating having to reconnect all the while. It looks quite plastic and is not as compact compared to our other wired ring camera’s - it is bulky and sizeable.
Live view stops after 10 minutes and you have to restart it. Night vision filter sticks and you get a bright pink image. Having to pay to view footage is a joke.
Bought a camera last may with no subscription. After one month i need to subscribe if i want to see the videos. They want to sell you a subscription that trickle bleeds you over time.
Software is rubbish and the ethos is rubbish. Everything related to ring is rubbish. Amazing lack of customer centric thinking.

Setting up a ring device is a dream someone has actually thought the process through and the app runs you seamlessly through the process

Could not set the camara upi have other ring cameras which are all set up and working but the stick up camera was difficult so i returned it and got my money back

We have a large l shaped garden and we wanted the camera for security around the gate area and part of the garden that we cannot see from the house

The picture quality is much better than anticipated even at night and we have had no issues with the motion detection

The lens is very wide so it captures much more of the garden than you would expect our house has a public walkway next to our fence and our camera covers this area too however the camera has a feature in which you can change the motion detection area so that we are not bombarded with notifications every time a person walks by

I do think the motion detection isn’t as great as say the ring doorbell which i’m surprised by but the night vision is insane and so far weather doesn’t affect video quality

Had a hiccup with wifi connection when it was raining once but that was only to live stream
