Pros & Cons
Pros
These concrete anchors seem to be very well made, stainless is a plus, no rust. After drilling the 1/4 hole in concrete, the tapered lock has a bit of a friction fit to the hole.
Needed these to mount a 12x12 cantilever umbrella base to my pool deck. Used these anchors to anchor down a inground pool railing on my concrete deck.
Good price and the right quantity. Much better price than redhead. Fair price. Would buy again.
Great quality. Nicely made and easy to use. Great hardware. Impressed with the quality. Well made. Looks good.
Cons
Mixing stainless steel and mild steel causes galvanic corrosion. All of the rest of its assembly is apparently galvanized mild steel.
Highlights
Quality
Well made, strong and worked first time
Easy to install and needed the stainless steel
Had used tapcons and those plastic wall anchors before, both times the bracket came down after a few months.
Been 5 months no rust or any discoloration.
Price
Time will tell but right now they seem like a good value and worked for what i needed them for.
Bolts were a good value given i did not need a large number.
The price is high, but the quality is worth it, these were $7 each at my local hardware store.
Shipping
They arrived in 2 days as advertised by amazon.
Anchors arrived on time and at fair price point.
Packaging/appearance
Good quality metals used, packaging was good, delivery was quick and no issues.
Anchors were secured into brick to hold a 32 inch flat screen monitor on a screened in patio with no issues.
And finally, i invested in a package of stainless steel lock washers to go over the flat washer that comes with the system.
Competitiveness
Perhaps red head makes a similar anchor bolt and i didn't realize it, but i initially tried a red head from home depot and had ... Read More

Drilling straight up and down can be a problem as sometimes you think you are when really you are not
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Im not sure exactly why but if the bolts due not go in plumb then it is way more likely you will have problems with the bolt not grabbing so it can be tightened

I was amazed at how often i thought i was holding the drill straight but the bubble said no

Once you hammer the bolt in there is no retrieving it
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I noticed one reviewer said he had to continue to hammer on the bolts sometimes to get them to set so that they would not spin when trying to tighten the nut
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The expansion ring at the bottom will expand and grab only when the bolt is pulled upward
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
So banging away with the hammer does nothing except increase the risk of damaging some threads
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
If the bolt spins instead of gripping the trick is to take a small pry bar or your claw hammer and yank sharply upward on the bolt with the nut in place
