Pros
Mobile app installation and settings are also very convenient. Nvr kit and mobile app are very easy to install and set up. Easy to setup and user friendly.
This is actually my second set that i intend on gifting to someone for christmas. Purchase one you won't be disappointed. Waiting for an extension for the 4th one.
Cameras are very clear in both night and day. Night illumination won't go all the way to the end of my garden (over 100ft away) but illuminates most of it. App is easy to navigate and playback of recordings is easy.
Three cameras go direct to the nvr. One camera outside my house is used as a repeater for my gate camera. No complaints whatsoever.
Cons
Cameras disconnect then reconnect all of the time. Next the repeater loses the camera signals and i have to try and reset the system again. Manufacturer states you just plug it in and boom, it works… just not so.
It is cumbersome to say the least. Total mystery to set up no instructions or expiation of systems and menu choices. I have patience for things but not with stuff that requires constant back and forth to figure out.
The app is awful to try to deal with. And having to emailing so-and-so or start making phone calls to some cube-room person in another world. Application process of the app just sits there and the little black circle of death rotates.

I'm very happy and pleasantly surprised at the quality of this system so far.
I was skeptical about the quality of this system but i've got to say i'm very impressed.
That, combined with the horrible manual that comes with it means there were a few choice words uttered before i got everything going.
I went with the version that did not include a hard drive as i've got several spare hard drives laying around.
Price
Without spending many times this price you won't find a better system.
Competitiveness
Hard drive was easy to upgrade to a 6tb.

After setting up motion detection and defining the active areas for the cameras i find there are quite a few false triggers that get recorded but most of those are attributed to moving leaves and bugs flying past the camera lens

Batteries last a couple weeks in high traffic areas

I cant find a way to turn off the lights as the cameras are in well lit areas and it just uses more battery power

The hdmi didnt connect to my older lcd so i bought a 25 dollar goodwill monitorlcd and the picture came right up
