I use this to check 100 ish plants in varying pot sizes. Slide it along the side of the pot to avoid damaging the root system of your plant.

I don't use it for the light feature but i am please with the moisture part.

The instructions specifically say that the gauge only works in soil so for people who are placing it in a cup of water and wondering why it isn’t working well it’s not supposed to work that way
