Pros & Cons
Pros
Very good sound at practically 0 investment. Compliments my pc setup. Would definetly recommend.
The speakers are connected to a 70w bookshelf receiver/amplifier and a dvd player connected to the amp. When we crank the tunes for a dance party with the kids, these keep up with the 100w amp that's powering them.
They provide a very good sonic range and plenty of power. An added bonus is that the speakers actually sound pretty good.
Honestly, these 3 speakers do most of the lifting. These get the job done for me. They're great for what they are! But they're pretty good.
Midrange and high frequencies are excellent. Even the mid bass sound comes out better than before. I listen to a lot of fuzzy, low-end riffs, and these speakers performed much better than my computer speakers. My subwoofer gives the deep bass and the ... Read More
Cons
Skip this disappointing offering, save your pennies, and buy yourself some real speakers. Mistakenly sent extension back w/speakers. Had bad luck at receiving a poorly constructed item.
The sound is boxy and has a harshness caused by their loudness in the 3000-4000 hz range. Extremely tinny sounds.
Highlights
Quality
Sound quality is superb really surpassed my expectation.
Great sound, small size, and well made.
I have an older stereo receiver/amplifier and these speakers were staticy at very low volume when i run them as b speakers.
I put it on my sony receiver and was blown away at the sound quality.
Price
We got what we wanted for a good price.
Still gave these 5 stars just because they are cheaper but with a little glue and time they sound pretty good for (what i paid ... Read More
For serious music listening this is no doubt a waste of money.
I think for the price they are well worth buying.
Shipping
Just received the 3 inch 100w speakers yesterday.
Packaging/appearance
Out of the box they looked fine, sound was as expected from a 3 inch speaker.
Competitiveness
The price looked good and the size was what i needed, plus i have a pyle phono pre-amp that works well and so i knew the brand was solid.
Funny for me to see a brand i thought of of cheap back in the day now offering one of the better speakers in it's category.
