The instllation went a lot smoother than i expected the size of the screen protector is intimidating i aligned the screen protector to two adjacent side of the hd8s screen and peeled away the release film while squeeging the screen protector on to the glass screen

The screen protector is noticeably smaller than the hd8s screen i aligned the screen protector to the top and the right side of the kindle fire hd8 and there is about 1mm gap on the left and about 2mm gap on the bottom

Although its somewhat annoying to see the gaps there is no effect when the tablet is in use as the gaps are in the black screen bezel area

Trying to watch a movie or a show on the kindle fire hd8 in a room with a ceiling light was nearly impossible because my face would be reflected on the screen very prominently almost like a mirror
