The silicone material in the lid seems quite thick and durable, fits very snugly. The lid is thicker than i expected, but still a thin profile when attached to the instant pot inner chamber. This solves that problem.
The silicone lid fits snuggly on the inner pot of your instant pot. The lid stays on pot securely. It fits my instant pot non stick and my pampered chef inner pot perfectly!
The silicone sealing rings are a bonus for changing up between making sweet and savory foods in the ip. The rings are slightly lighter and more flexible than the original ip ring, but fit inside the cover quite well.
Cons
I have the original seal and this one and you can see steam seeping from the cooker when it tries to pressurize with this seal. Does not seal. This is a major design flaw, i believe.

Its about 12 millimeters too small in the diameter

Right now i really have to push down on the lid and maintain pressure when it starts steaming for quite a while until the gasket seats itself

Theres no possibility of relying on the timer function leaving it unattended to pressurize on its own
