Competitiveness
I also had cameras demonstrated for me by my alarm company and found the foscam was just as good as some of their top end cameras.
The images are superior to any webcam and i have also downloaded a 3rd party program so we can use our cameras with skype as well.
We tried some of the other apps and they don't work nearly as well as the livecam pro app.
I researched many cameras before purchasing the foscam brand.

Also dont know if this is a software issue or not i also bought blue iris and the alerts are not consistent sometimes they sent the alert and other times it doesnt

You must be it savvy to get the cameras to work via wifi and on your other devices

I did not believe that there was an ability for foscam to actually get my cameras online using a remote application hence the delay in my getting help
