It definitely makes up for the fact that you have to periodically recharge the batteries.
Cons
The motion sensor seems to be stuck in the on position. The light then continues to do this indefinitely unless the room lights are turned on.

It has a light sensor that turns on the device if it detects darkness and also has a timer that turns the light off if there it doesnt detect motion

After reading the reviews i thought these would work inside a shaded cabinet

There was just enough light coming into the cabinet when i opened the door to keep them from coming on

If you buy them be aware that they probably wont work during the day unless you are in a very dark room
