Pros

Marks are easy to read and don't rub off. The cork backing helps a lot to prevent sliding. Because of the cork, it stays in place while i am underlining.

Cons

The edges are dangerously sharp and they will need to be filed in order to use any of these rulers. The corners are also dangerously sharp. They are not stainless steel, they are ferrous.

While this saves a tiny bit of material, it relies on identical cuts and no wear. The metal is darker than other metal rulers i own, and it's harder to read the numbers.
