Pros

These fit perfectly in the plaster attic vent pipes on my spanish revival bungalow. The vents have nubs for securing in the hole so fit the frp snugly.

Cons

The fit with a 3 inch hole saw is so loose the vent will not grab. The tabs meant for compression fit are without purpose in this regard. No way it will be flush with the enclosure walls. This would be okay if you are only installing a dozen or so.
