The connector itself is not gold plated meaning it may be prone to oxidization in the future

In terms of sound its on par with other banana plugs ive tried but that may not be the case over time when the metal possibly oxidizes

In summary id recommend investing in better quality banana plugs if you can at least ones that are gold plated
