Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Took me three days of 2-3 hours of set-up, prep and/or painting each day. Easy to prep. Hour window is very helpful and made me feel more at ease.

Used this to refresh the yellow tile and stained tub in our guest bathroom. Used this on both shower stalls.

I still need to caulk around the edge of the tile and the floor so don't judge it too hard lol. Covered the odd built in tile well. Was definitely better than ripping out the old pink tile.

Used 2 cans of spray paint to replace an outdated tub and sink. Used a hose to shower in the basement sink. Not ashamed to have guests come in to an old fashioned outdated bathroom anymore.

Cons

Not worth the experience, not worth the hassle, just don't do it.

The finish on both sink basins was already pretty worn down and etched before i even began prepping so i knew the product would adhere to those parts without a problem

I did sand the other areas that were still shinysmooth various grits sandpaper although i probably didnt even need to do that because the sink finish was already somewhat scratched

Even so i agree with other reviewers that the prep work is critical to success

I heeded the warnings from other reviewers and bought a respirator

I do think it was necessary even with an n95 type mask i think the fumes would be so strong that you might start to feel queasy and overall its just not great to inhale this stuff
