If your dryer has a 38 connector to a 38 connector to the wall for your gas then get a straight 38 to 38 hose

It was fixed when the professional i hired came out and told me no theres adapters dont have the the proper taper or something like that

He said when you put it in you can just spin it all the way to the back and it still wont still correctly and he was correct and he showed me this with his little bit of dish soap and water fluid

For your dryer use i would say use more caution and use a direct connection using the exact proper connection on each end
