Conclusion is that these are very poor quality when compared with the hultafors and pica leads. There's a reason they are cheap. Can't see the yellow lines on dark wood or steel. Waste of money.

The red and yellow show up well on black surfaces but if the surface is too glossy the marks are not very bright
