Thats why when you look for the liners for 2015 honda civic there is only the set for the ex because its the only change in 2015 for sedans

The 2015 ex liner has a longer cut out so if you put it into the 2015 lx or se there is a gap before and after the release lever

The only thing that i did notice and due to the material used it seems that any variety of shoe that touches the surface of this mat leaves a scuff mark
