Pros & Cons
Pros
This stuff is super sturdy compared to my hatchbox pla, same slicing. Pla+ parts are less brittle and have a little extra give to them.
Pla+ seems to be a softer filamnet, so in order to maintain a sturdy print you do have print at higher temperatures. For the two open bed printers, the key was running the extruder temp at a few degrees above the highest recommended temperature.
Will definitely recommend to any 3d printing enthusiasts. Cousin it from addams family, as an applewatch charger. If you're on the fence, take the dive, it's totally worth it.
This filament is amazing! Luckily this one is good enough to not introduce any headaches. Measured multiple time consistent 1.
Cons
It is wound so tight that it causes printing artifacts. It jams the extruder, leaves holes in prints, but at times prints well.
Too hot and warping was an issue. Maybe it is just really sensitive to temp settings. Maybe my extrusion rate is high and the filament diameter is off; nope, spot on.
Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this filament. They never actually give out the free filament, they just dangle it to get sales. Sometimes it clogs and sometimes it doesn’t.

Quality
Happy with the quality of this filament.
Overall i'm very pleased with my first 4 prints with the sunlu pla plus black filament.
Quality of the prints made with the filament are spot on.
The speel label lists a temperature of 190-230 while the product page says 190-220.
Price
Price is great and affordable so what more can you ask for, just make sure you have the right settings and you shouldnt have any problem 👍.
Packaging/appearance
Fantastic results right out of the box!
The packaging is solid, and the shrink wrap was nice and tight.
I haven't had this out of the package for very long, but i'll update to report about brittleness or print issues as the pla age... Read More
Competitiveness
Also getting pla+ for less than most pla priced rolls is a huge bonus.
I tried sunlu pla+ for the first time (black) and used it to print the parts for the prototype design in the photo.
Without waste, this was less expensive than the cheap brand.
