Pros

Pla is the easiest material to print. You absolutely need to print at 210-215 on an ender 3. My only complaint is the silks adhesion to itself.

This brand is one that i would order from again. Good packaging too. It has been opened and stored in my dry box for 3 years.

The slight orange really makes this stand out as gold. I am printing some award from this, that is why i ordered the gold color.

The shade seems to be a bit darker than the picture. It looks photoshopped on my kitchen counter, i'm very happy with the performance once i made the adjustments above. The yellow is super shiny, but you can still see detail in the 3d prints.

Excellent product, love the shiny outcome when you slow down the speed!

Surface finish is fantastic, given my skill level at operating my printer.

With poor quality filament, the small section of the tail does not stick and the articulations need to be broken apart.

I did notice that the spool is very full, you cannot even thread the leftover filament through the pre-made holes because it is so high.

Price

Prints great and for a great price also

Totally worth the cost, quality prints come out with their filament each time.

For the price this is a good deal.

I know pla is cheap, but under $15 for a large roll of metallic silk was a surprise.

Packaging/appearance

The filament appeared more of a bronze/mustard color than a gold, but after my first print all my worries went away.

Was a bit worried when i opened the package as it looked plain yellow but came out a very nice shiny gold.

Other than that, it came well packaged and nicely wound, with consistent, parallel strands of filament.

Competitiveness

The color, for silk silver can vary, from brand to brand.

I’ve worked with a lot of different brands, but this shiny gold filament prints flawlessly.
