I like how simple this was to operate. The digital display is easy to use, although its a bit to remember for all the different filament types, so i used my label maker to make a cheat sheet that i stuck to the side of the dryer.

Like the sunlu, it has a timer. The timer can be set to (1-36 hours) the other three * are to select modes for duration and the three temp values with corresponding up/down *.

Having worked with multiple filament dryers (including some repurposed food dehydrators), this one isn't bad. Good bed adhesion and mostly smooth layer lines. Temperature settings (45c, 55c, and 70c) are adequate for use with most filament types.

Cons

It lists the standard settings but no information on best practices. It assumes you’ve done your homework on that. Could be an issue with the humidity level in my house and outside. Apparently due to a failing fan.

Quality of construction seems to be very good.

It is easy to set up, easy to use and the internal fan allows it to work faster and better!

After printing literally dozens of retraction towers and never getting a super clean print, i went to a fb printing group for advice.

The power cord doesn’t have a large power brick attached to it and is detachable, while located next to a fused link and power switch.

Price

Totally worth the cost in my opinion.

If you knew that the inside humidity was high, you could stick some desiccant packets into the box to speed up the drying process.

The box is designed to hold a single 1kg spool but i find i can fit two .
