Pros

Know your product, read the instructions. This product is fabulous. Very pleased with the product and the price.

Both have their place in the quiver of boat fixes. Bought this to install a new fish finder on the boat. Its worth it.

The adhesive qualities are top notch. I tend to base my decision on if i ever plan to disassemble and or what kind of disaster might occur if it were to come loose. Used it on a few leaking rivets too.

Cons

This stuff is runny, will drip down, takes 7 days to cure, and the tube will not store after first use. The product has a 1 year warranty. Maybe better to use a higher volume distributor.

Really, a excellent, really adhere super, for place that may get submerged with water.

Until this dries, the brackets moved and kept slipping down the wall.

Make sure you hold or use something to brace parts until it dries and has time to adhere.

So it was either try this or buy a new $500 top.

A little on the expensive side but well worth the extra money.

This caulk is a one time deal, tough as nails, but slow to cure, then there forever.
