Used these pads with soy based paint stripper to strip & refinish dining room set + china cabinet. Used this to help strip varnish from a door. Wood does absorb water and needs some drying.

They clog up with paint goo but you can squeeze that out or rinse in mineral spirits if you wish

They should be allowed to dry out before placing in household trash stream just like any paint
