It works well for removing the layers of material on top of the wood grain. I use this to sand down driftwood to make interior design pieces and art.

Cons

Where's the quality assurance people who do the packaging? If there had been quality assurance then this would have surely been caught. Hd has the exact same item for almost half what i paid.
