Pros & Cons
Pros
Adhesion is great and its very east to install. It sticks well and is a nice thick tape. Clean and dry the surface for best adhesion results.
Used this product about 3 years ago to repair a broken lens on my * car. Works as expected to patch a small break in the right corner of the brake/rear light assembly. Most importantly, it protects the bulb and electrical components of my taillight.
Cons
Don't waster your money. There are other alternative brands purporting to work, but none can be relied on.
When it filters a light source you end up with more of a purple/magenta. Not reddish or pink, totally clear. Looks red until you light it up, at which point it becomes a * pinkish-purple.
The tape is too thick for this purpose and takes away at least 50% of the brightness of the flashlight. Scotch tape and red-tinted plastic wrap works better.
