Pros & Cons
Pros
Using this mouse makes your hand and wrist sit much more ergonomically. If you have any kind of repetitive stress / carpal tunnel type issue this is definitely worth checking out. There is a good overview of cararpal tunnel on computerworld that takes... Read More
The mouse is very expansive, but it's worth it for me. I work as a programmer and my hobby involve video games. It's great for programming or browsing.
Cons
It looks pretty fancy and offers some wrist relief but it is not really functional. Also, the wrist motion is very inefficient for close work.
Most of the functionality is in the thumb button which requires thumb training. The joystick is pretty inaccurate and difficult to use on tasks where you need accurate cursor positioning. After syncing then you come across hiccups and hitches when mov... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Best ergonomic mouse i have ever used.
Easy to assemble and easy to use!
The base, where you hand / wrist rests is very hard, to the point of causing me pain within the first few hours of use.
While this works for scrolling in web browsers and for panning the camera in some software, it doesn't offer the full control o... Read More
Price
It is a bit on the expensive side but it's worth every penny for me.
I bought mine for $79 from a specialty shop i found with google.
There are some $200 to $600 keyboards that people swear by.
Shipping
Worth mentioning that the shipping was so fast and the mouse response is so quick and smooth.
Superb delivery, good product, very happy customer.
3m amazing customer service accepted to exchange the other unopened large one with the purchase receipt for a small one.
Packaging/appearance
Great product, well packaged, exactly what i needed
Competitiveness
The microsoft natural ergonomic keyboard 4000 is as good as any.
But 3m only seems to have one or two other competitors for this type of mouse, so i guess you call that charging what the market will bear.
For a mouse at this price it would have been nice for the 3m to have a better scroll solution.
