Just squeeze a little bit on the spot whether it is a tack hole or nail hole and wipe with a wet wipe and it is done nothing to it

I didn’t use the buffer portion of the cap used it more so to hold the putty while i worked just blended the filler as much as i could with my finger

Also the dispense hole is quite small so depending on how much of a space you’re trying to fill you will need to use your hands
