Pros & Cons
Pros
Top notch feel compared to 2 other brands i've used. Holds up well with minimal off gasing at first heat cycle. Seems to be adhering well.
Brakes get very hot on the race track and melt the glue on wheel weights. Clean any metal to be covered with a wipe of rubbing alcohol, let dry then wrap. Adhesion is excellent. It sticks well to plain surfaces and itself so wrapping around a few time... Read More
Cons
It is very thin and flimsy. Edges are razor sharp and sliced my finger when i tried to place it on the piping. Totally worthless. It becomes a useless piece of foil with no stick whatsoever.
Highlights
Quality
Product is high quality and worked well on my furnace ducts
This excellent metal tape made installing my tankless water heater stainless exhaust system a breeze.
Pellet stove pipes kept leaking no matter what we did.
Never enough to even trigger any smoke alarms.
Price
It enabled me to save a lot of money and after a year it looks and performs like the day it was applied.
The only complaint is that it is fairly pricy for only 15-ft.
Shipping
It was delivered the next day, was easy to tape on and it works great!
Packaging/appearance
Packaging with different width selections would be nice.
Wrapped around the stove pipe for pellet stove that was leaking smoke.
Competitiveness
Unlike the regular ones sold at lowe's or hd, this one is supposed to work with higher temperature flue.
Tried many brands that just dont take the heat from the furnace and air pressure.
