I watched videos on youtube so i knew the adhesive tape on 2 of the 4 sides was just ok

So i also ordered a bottle of clear gorilla glue and put a medium strip of glue right down the middle of the tape on the 2 sides

I eventually gave up and deliberately glopped too much on there and sanded it down later

Also the inside of our wall was too shallow and i had to rip the hole almost the limits of the patch just in order to get the patch inside the hole
