Pros & Cons

Pros

These earmuffs work great. They mute sounds from my buddy's duck call to me snapping my fingers when turned up to full volume. V batteries (aaa) into each head phone.

They are light and compact. Great for a first set of electronic muffs, hunting, and shooting. The only real problem i have with them is they feel kinda cheap and the battery placement is really weird.

Cons

It comes dangerously close to tearing up the unit just to open it for batteries. Battery replacement is awkward and risks damaging the pads.

Not all head sizes are the same. I have an xl head and this barely covered my ears. A lot of static, then the condensation gets into the cups and shorts out the electronics. The removal and reinstallation of the ear cushions is a real pain, not to men...  Read More

The only good thing is they are very low profile so good for rifle shooting where you need to get a decent cheek weld. I have a pair of cheapee muffs rated at nrr15 that i use for my home workshop and mowing the lawn that give better protection on the...  Read More

The worst part is that these pitfalls were foreseeable and easily avoidable. For example:1. Not very elegant design for opening the case. Nice idea, poor implementation.

Quality

Works great, the sound of 105mm guns are no problem up close, and the enhanced sound otherwise is really handy and nice.

Excellent earpro and the batteries last a long time.

These i did not even notice, even when facing into the wind.

They headphones work great, changing the batteries is a total pain, poor design.

Price

For the price, it's an awesome buy.

Yeah the price tag seems a bit high, but as they say "buy once, cry once.

Not nearly as awesome as the $500 peltors but this does the job on a budget.

Competitiveness

It is somewhat tedious to replace the batteries compared to other brands though.

I use another brand which does not have the same quality.
