These fit very snugly because of the adjustable strap. I also have an p99 half mask but 3m and these sit perfectly on that.

I mainly bought this to fit over my glasses because they appear to be a bit larger than my previous pair but they are not large enough to pull off without hooking my glasses on the way

My hospital provided goggles were terrible and wearing them for 12hours is painful

So it is likely just a trial and error thing of you really need goggles and wearing a respirator
