These are fantastic. They are worth every cent that they cost. These are superb!
This gel is both an insulator and a water repellent. When clamped it is waterproof, the connection completely sealed in gel. Quick connect, no stripping required.
Cons
Openings for the low voltage wires are too small, as mentioned in a few other reviews. You mean to tell me that the brilliant minds at 3m cannot design a waterproof t connector for a fixture that is one piece?

Worked great on 14 gauge stranded and the thin wire from low voltage outdoor lights.
They are not made for constant submerged connections, as one would expect with water pumps, but they surpass the twist on caps i had.
Been using them for years and never had one fail.
Competitiveness
They are expensive but i'm glad i used these over other options.
