Pros
The 3m speedglas auto darkening helmet tints automatically. The shade is adjustable, the arc delay is perfect for the eyes. There is a chart included that tells you which types of welding you can do at what energy levels using which levels of tint.
A very versatile helmet with adjustable tint.
This helmet is a rock solid helmet. Not perfect but a huge improvement.
The competitors helmets have a mode where it can be used for these options. It allows me to view the arc better and keeps the viewing area clear and crisp. You will be challenged to find a bigger view.

Overall great hood for $250 3m doesn’t disappoint!
Not a big deal for me, but i hope you remember to do that.
For mig and stick it's great too but you'll go through cover lenses much quicker and they are a little bit pricey.
Competitiveness
It's also quite a bit cheaper than lincoln's and miller's equivalents.
This is not my first speedglas and it's as good as any i've ever had and better than anything made by anyone else.

Ive encountered only a single small issue with the helmet

More importantly the helmet doesnt turn itself back on so you have to remember to push the power button every morning or you will flash yourself on your first weld

I keep another old hood for mig or stick anything that will make spatter
