The california sun kept melting the adhesive pad that came stock with the mount, and it kept falling off which was super annoying.
Great product but i didn’t factor in the weight of what it was suppose to hold.
Competitiveness
This 3m vhb adhesive circle is almost literally a thousand times better and the perfect size cut-out.
I wound up reinforcing the adhesion using e6000 glue (which is flexible) and it solved all of the above problems.

Its actually overkill to use these for a smartphone mount and im not sure its entirely safe

My concern being damage to the dashboard when it comes time to remove the adhesive my car is leased
