Would never stabilize. After all, these are advertised as +300 degrees. The connector for the thermistor is not compatible with the prusa mk3.

These work great and the length of the wire is perfect for my needs.
They measure quickly and accurately ( +/- 1 to 2f ) the sleeved version can take a bit more abuse then the exposed version.
It does not work the same as the original and your temperatures will fluctuate by a marging up to +/- 15 degrees celsius.
0 to get accurate readings, according to my ir thermometer its 1*c off but that is likely within spec for something like this.
Price
If you use a 60w heater cartridge, bump the value to 28.
If you also added a higher wattage heater cartridge, you may need to changepid functional range value to 25.
Competitiveness
This appears to be the same 100 kohm thermistor used by prusa and other reprap printers.
