Its not a thick metal as the grw-drwdf4 but is still completely solid construction and not at all flimsy or thin.
The grw-drwdf4 may be over built for a home studio like mine where i just want good solid drawers.

I would say, for the price, the product is definitely worth it.

I installed it in my rack above another brand's 4u model grw-drwdf4 i had purchased from sws.
I also threw in some spare sfp modules and related stuff since the pri are in a 3d printed enclosure.
