I am very happy with this tool.
I can wave it around very close to what i'm using it on without fear of scratching it with the metal tip.
Its a blow gun and blows air, it works and reasonable quality for price paid
Packaging/appearance
It seems to have a good seal, and i do not hear any air leaking out from the gun.
Competitiveness
Great easy compared to a standard matco blow nozzle
Suffered through a couple cheap, leaky hft versions.
It's not snapon, but for the price, it's great!

I would recommend getting the male quick connect adapter as this does not come with one

Otherwise you will have to deflate the compressor and unscrew the quick connect from your compressor hose to screw this on every time

If i had to guess they either had the pressure turned up too high andor did not have the tip all the way on
