Makita needs to hire engineers with actual real world cunstruction experience. They keep dropping the ball with alot of these silly design flaws.

The product works fine it accomplishes most tasks i set for it it did bog down in some of the hard woods thot i cut.

As for this not being compatible with the lxt platform, i don't see that as a problem.

And i'm getting a lot of cuts between charges with the 4.

I already have the 18v metal cutting circular saw but i wanted to get something that would take a full 7-1/4 blade.
