Video from the backup camera is clear and is better than in my other car (2019 civic). Can display camera video via included camera. The pilot's own screen for the radio and backup camera has a little shelf that it sits behind.

Works great as a speakerphone as well. If not, it has an onboard speaker. Are there any instructions in how to use airplay on this unit.

Despite some shortcomings, it does what i mainly need it for. The only shortfalls are with android auto it's self, the unit is perfect. It raises the bar for connectivity by enabling smooth access to your favorite apps. needs auto dimming at night.

Iphone 12/14 and samsung s22 support carplay and android auto. You have to have wifi and bluetooth on on order to use android auto wirelessly. Bluetooth also shows it connecting to some symbol or chinese device.

Cons

If you have to have wifi, bt & lte on to use this thing, it is a dud for me. They have great pics and videos but that is not what i got, sorry. Does not stick on dashboard with the double sided adhesive.

If you don’t have a touch screen i would recommend this product.

Price is very reasonable and did not have to spend more money on a professional installation.

After wiring the camera in and hooking to reverse light, the reverse camera only works when i click the camera icon on the screen.

Works great for vehicles without newer carplay radios.

It has apple carplay wireless, so i connect my phone remotely and it is automatically connected everytime after i start the car.

This is a great carplay device but no support !

I was looking for a carplay device to upgrade my old vehicle and found a lot of devices in amazon which i thought all are similar.
