Pros

Comes well packaged and took less than five minutes to install. Seems same as before the upgrade. System is quicker with this upgrade.

Laptop now has 8gb of ram, up from 4gb. Removed 2 gb chip and replaced with this 4gb chip. Been running for several months now along with an ssd. Ghz 15in.

    Officially apple claims that these models officially support up to 6gb 4gb 2gb but according to multiple sources on the web aluminum unibody macbook models are capable of supporting 8 gb of ram but if and only if they have been upgraded to run mac os x 10
