With this and a short hdmi i have an external hdmi port which i can use to quickly plug my laptop into or plug the pc back on or the phone for occasional use

Otherwise simply rewind the movie for 30 seconds press play on the remote then go to the bedroom

Ive tried joining together 2 hdmi leads to make a longer lead using this adapter and it worked fine with no loss of picture or sound quality
