Quality
After several weeks of use, i'm pleased to say that it has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and functionality.
In use i have not noticed any image quality degradation and the performance has been excellent.
In case it was missed on the advert, this device is 12v and requires power to be supplied via a wall adapter.
There is also 4 usb ports on the front which wil switch between the devices so only use things that are okay to constantly hotplug.
Price
These things are always quite pricey but lost in the overall cost of such a setup, however this one is good value.
The price is slightly expensive in my opinion.

Competitiveness
This is similar to many kvm switches though, so was expected.
I've seen lots of kvm switches on the market but not many that can handle dual hdmi displays.

I dont turn the second one on often as can be imagined but the monitor keyboard and mouse take up quite a bit of space in my home office

It would have been nice if the sockets on the box had allowed for usb c since that what a lot of my peripherals are nowadays but fortunately i had old keyboards and mice laying around that used the older protocol

Once you’ve chosen your windows monitor settings there’s nothing else to worry about as it autdetects inputs reliably

However i could not get video from the hp usbc dock g5 on any channel src usbc on hp elitebook x360 1040 g10it turns out the order of connection is vitally important probably imo due to an edid emulation chain since the dock also supports remembered monitor connections

Iirc video connections from the kvm to the dock should be the very last connections made dock on laptop plugged in an on monitors connected to the kvm and target channel selected but whatever the truth is it does work eventually

What tends to matter most with these is how long they last ive had some that seem really good stop working after a few of months and ive only been using this a couple of weeks so far so well see

This is a quite a big dualmonitor kvm switch with its metal casing and its quite heavy too
