Great in theory but horrible in application. No instructions with product. Save your money. It's worthless anyway.
The 2 piece design of the bit is a flaw! When the bit get stuck in the wood, and you go to reverse the bit out, it comes unscrewed. Did not split wood as shown. Tryed on different sized wood, drill bit dug in but stoped.

This does work to split wood but you do need bigger drill split bigger logs or get stuck in log and sure depends on what kind wood trying on i used popler wood

These things really work the only problem with this particular set is that when your point becomes stuck in a log and you need to reverse you unscrew the tip off your drill leaving it stuck in the wood

You need to weld the point on so that it cannot unscrew
