I knocked my review of durability down one notch because i had the radio clipped to my pants pocket bent over to pick something up and the little metal pin that holds the latch on popped loose

I got a hold of amazon and clearly stated the problem one defective battery

The scan function is a little slower than most other radios but it gets the job done and unless you have more than 20 memories programmed it works ok

I have dropped mine numerous times and the worst thing that has happened is the piece on the battery that clips into the radio snapped off

Four out of five work not worth the trouble to return just cant charge all five at once

They dont last forever but being in the security business i find most radios get lost before they get broken
