Not certain how well this is going to work with the skimmer bucket handle keeping the liner from a snug fit but trapping anything is better than trapping nothing at all

If you put it on the inside of the basked you cannot use the tablets in the basket because it will eat the liner

Used pantyhose in the past but they kept slipping off and going into the filter basket

You just have to remember to empty the liner before turning off the main pool pump otherwise all the crude will float back up into the pool
