Pros & Cons
Pros
No problems or complaints. Fairly easy to install. Very reasonably priced.
The plastic is easy to pare away with some cutters, and cut edge is hidden under the * of the light. They fit perfectly on our existing recessed cans. There is no light bleed and they fit on the long airtight cone of the recessed light. This fits the ... Read More
These rings hide the gaps around the led conversion lights. I wish they were a little wider due to the gaps in around the old light cans, but after a little wiggling, they did the job. Now it doesn't look like a diy nightmare!
Many pairs, or groups of two people oftentimes go searching for rings. This happens until a compromise is reached. Then they wear them. Thankfully, they make these trim rings.
Cons
These are super cheapo plastic rings (good trim) except they don't match any recess lights so they stick out like a sore thumb. Material is cheap and don’t even fit around a 6” recess light without being cut.
Received used item (pack of 5 trim rings). Too much of a hassle to return. Not as described. When choosing the return items choice, simply says not eligible for return and refers us to an entire page of return policies.
Highlights
Quality
It blended well and looks very clean with the ceiling lights .
Thicker and sturdier than what came with the originals.
It serves a purpose tho and for that it is a good product.
The trim rings have a matte white finish which goes well with the gloss white baffles as you can see in the "after" picture.
Price
Price is very reasonable for the pack of five.
Packaging/appearance
Needed a little more coverage from poor cut out from the sheetrockers.

Besides the fact that these plastic rings cost less than the sealed plastic bag they came in it burns you to know that the supplier has marked these up so much and did not even provide the cigarette afterwords for doing it to you
