Pros
Despite the small footprint, the all metal construction of the switch gives it weight and it feels stable on your desk or shelf. The metal casing seems sturdy and well-constructed with no obvious defects (sharp edges or misaligned openings etc).
For $27, the binardat 5 port gigabit switch is a decent value for an ultra compact switch with 2. Gigabit ports. The switch works well at 2. Gbps and is affordable.
The base has two cross hair + type mounting slots. There are led status lights on the top for the ports. The led status lights glow green for 1gig speed and red for the 2. It runs cooler if you elevate it above stand.
The power adapter is a small wall wart. I like that the power plug and the ports are on the same side so everything is plugged one way.

Also, the price of the device is excellent for this quality and speed of internet transmission.
It is also a great value for the price.
