Pros

Get a hobby hammer, small needle nose pliers, and plywood sheet to work on as well to protect the able top. Follow the pictured step-by-step instructions. A switch is like a faucet handle feeding a hose.

Cons

The kit is a great idea, but the instructions and small screws make it a little difficult to assemble for an 8 year old. The instructions are far from great and the 3 different screw sizes very hard to tell which is which.
