Pros & Cons
Pros
It's wrinkle-free and durable. It's not too wrinkly but you need clips on all edged to ensure it’s flat.
Cons
It's stiff and feels almost like the nap is sprayed on. It certainly is not suitable for sewing a garment. If you use those sticky lint rollers, part of the velvet comes off.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality and works perfect with the right lighting.
It’s really good, it does dive a true black background with no highlights.
Definitely absorbs light and no reflection whatsoever.
Very easy to work with its very thick and a little stiff though, so be prepared.
Price
I personally think this is a deal!
Almost as light absorbent even though much lighter and of course, way less expensive.

It does pick up a lot of lint and dust so try to keep it off the floorcouch and use some blue masking tape or a lint roller on it before use
