Pros & Cons

Pros

The cord is a must when powering items with my generators during rolling blackouts in the winter. We have commercial electric vehicles called tuk tuks who operate with a larger lithium battery. Worked great with our 2022 tesla model y.

This extension cord is sturdy and well made. Seems like a well-constructed and durable extension cord, but time will tell. Heavy duty, big strong, sturdy cord there’s no chance of fire because it's well equipped for the job.

New cord stays cool and ac is running better to less voltage drop. I use it to power up a 1500 watt stock tank heater all winter here in wisconsin. No signs of burning like the yellow jacket cord did.

Cons

End connectors are junk. Had to cut the connector off and fit a good quality one rated at 15 amps. Out of warranty.

Quality

This extension cord is sturdy and well made.

I just got this so my sturdiness an durability reviews are based on well it appears to be made.

The ground prong on the previous cord (same exact cord as this one) broke off after about a year of use.

- does not heat up like a regular cable, and has tons of length to run across the entire garage.

Price

Works well as designed and reasonably priced.

Just a bit on the expensive side.

Pricing was about 1/2 of the big box stores near me and few had this gauge cable.

Shipping

This cord arrived really fast and is exactly what i needed.

Packaging/appearance

This cord arrived well bundled and looks very sturdy.

Competitiveness

It was a much better alternative than using an electrical extension cord.

Bought this to replace a 10 gauge yellow jacket cord and this is holding up just as good if not better than the namebrand one .

I don’t trust any other cord especially around kids and water slides i had different brands melt but not this one i have 7 of these 50 footers for my 7 inflatables

Its the only cord that will work with my inflatable hot tub any other just makes pump kick out a code and wont work

Its supposed to be plugged directly in wall

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

My only qualifier is that i didnt cut it open to verify if its 10 gauge wire or whether its solid copper copper clad or aluminum but im not about to waste my money to find out

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Im just a little suspicious because 10 ft of 10 gauge wire should be able to handle 20 amps and its only rated for 15 amps

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Maybe its in the connectors and theyre only 12 gaugei dont know

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Anyway use it for 15 amps max and youll be fine

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its short so be sure this length is what you want does measure a full 10you can drive over this with a mack truck and not damage it
