In the review it asks about remote control, ours didn't come with a remote, you turned them all on and off manually.

The lights had to be opened and batteries wiggled to get them going

We put a couple rocks or sand at the bottom of the bag to hold it down

I just added some sand they looked beautiful and the lights lasted the entire evening till i turned them off
