Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The sheets are smooth, soft and luxurious. After a few wash/dry's, the sheets become very smooth and soft. They do wrinkle though.

The color is great as is the fit. My only complaint is that they are darker in person. The colors are beautiful, the sizes are good and the stitches are solid.

Mayfair 500 count egyptian 100 percent cotton sheets are an outstanding value for the price point of approximately $52. The stitching is good and the pillowcases are sewn all the way around.

Cons

The description on amazon says the sheets fit up to an 18 mattress, but the packaging say up to 17. Further, the pillow cases barely cover my standard-sized pillow. Fitted sheet barely fits in corners of 14 mattress!

These sheets are not at all purple. More like a light burgundy with a bit of mauve. It says they are 100% cotton, but it’s feels they they are half fiberglass. After washing they are rough and scratchy.

Mayfair name is supposed to be a good and ethical brand. The product is not labelled anywhere for oeko-tex certification.

Go to walmart, better homes and gardens for a nicer silky sheet set. Back in the box for return. Am thinking of returning them.
